By observing nature from fossils and remnants of the past, we'll be working to create glass elements that evoke fossils using a contemporary approach. Crafting a glass flower is an act of preserving nature's beauty, of freezing a moment in time. Glass flowers have long been cherished in both art and science - this is an opportunity to learn how to craft these iconic pieces.

Who is this for: Adults

What you will gain:  In this workshop, students will:

  1. Learn to shape and manipulate solid glass rods.
  2. Form solid glass using graphite plates and mashers.
  3. Master the bridging technique for clean, complex welds.
